Open Water Swim Series
Every Wednesday at 6:00 pm | June 7th – August 16th
The Open Water Swim Series is an 10 week event consisting of a swim/run sequence. It is designed as a weekly practice & training opportunity for anyone considering or planning on participating in a triathlon. Also a great event for swimmers who want to get out in the open water!
Each event begins with an open water swim, at a distance of your choice, followed by an optional 5k run & post-run beach yoga. There will be a mass start for all swim distances to help familiarize you with the open water start of a triathlon.
There are several event distances to choose from every week:
500m Swim & 5k Run
1000m Swim & 5k Run
1500m Swim & 5k Run
2000m Swim & 5k Run
2500m Swim Only
3000m Swim Only
You will select your swim distance & run option when you check-in for the event. You can change the swim distances at any time (even during the swim), please just let us know if you want to switch distances or if you swam a different distance.
60°-70°F during the month of June
70°F during the month of July
70-74°F during the month of August
Wetsuits are not required for participation but it is recommended for most participants for the extra warmth and buoyancy they provide.
